With its targeted volume replenishment action, Liquid Lift delivers the equivalent of an intensive facelift, but without the need for an operation. In situations where large volume losses have been experienced, substances known as Juvederm Voluma, or Restylane Sub Q, are introduced to the relevant areas, augmenting volume at these locations. Both of these substances are high-volume hyaluronic acids which replenish cheeks and which can freshen up tired looking skin around the eyes. We pride ourselves on the exclusive use of renowned non-animal based hyaluronic acids of the highest standards of quality. Across the board, these are generated biosynthetically and are virtually identical at a structural level to the body's own substances. The difference is that these enriched hyaluronic acids are broken down much more slowly by the body, meaning that the benefits of this treatment last much longer.
The treatment takes about two hours, meaning that there is no need for an anaesthetic. We use a special cannula (the pix'L needle) that is capable of penetrating skin tissue very gently indeed, and assuring a uniform flow rate of the injected substance with correspondingly uniform results. The rounded, blunt tip of the cannula separates fibres in skin tissue without bursting them, thus minimizing the risk of unsightly haemotomas and injuries, and also greatly reducing the level of discomfort experienced during the treatment. Many of our clients are able to mingle publicly immediately after this therapy without the risk of attracting sideways glances.
